These pages feature a series of walks I wrote some years ago for an on-line tourist site.

I apologise if some of the information is out of date or incorrect.

Wherever and whenever possible I have amended inaccuracies following information supplied by visitors to the site.

If you spot an error and would like to see it corrected or if you would like me to place a link from here to your own site please email.

The address is on the bottom info bar along with a link to my Home Page.

This has articles on a variety of subjects covering Hertfordshire, historical figures, entertainment, essays on the Knights Templar, book reviews and much more.

This is a long walk but encompasses a host of interesting buildings and facts about the area.

It starts in Fitzroy Square and continues through Kings Cross and along Camden High Street.

Then up Camden Road to the Borough boundary at Brecknock Road where the last duel in London was fought.

This is a circular walk starting at Belsize Park and uphill to Hampstead High Street.

Then through the Spaniards and over Hampstead Heath, the ponds and Parliament Hill Fields.

The final leg takes you back downhill past the Vale of Health and to Belsize Park Underground station.

Fortunately this walk is downhill starting at the Gatehouse pub, past Whittington Hospital and the monument to Dick Whittington's cat.

Then through Holloway, home to Joe Orton and Joe Meek, past Highbury where Tony Blair lived and Essex Road to The Angel and its antique market

Two of the most famous London markets are Petticoat Lane and Camden Market.

You begin 'down the Lane', past the Monument erected to commemorate the Great Fire of London and then join London's transport system.

This ends at Camden Market, Chalk Farm and the iconic Roundhouse.
