Le Funelle

Women across America responded enthusiastically to the development of a simple disposable device which could revolutionise female urinary habits.

With the help of the delicately named Le Funelle women like their male counterparts, can pee standing up, thus avoiding the horrors of dirty toilet seats and a host of bacteria from thrush to herpes.

The device is the brainchild of a German born entrepreneur Ms Lore Harp, who lives in California. Ms Harp developed the idea during her years as a high-powered business executive when she was required to travel between 150,000 miles to 200,000 miles a year.

I just simply became disgusted with sitting down on unhygienic toilets and looked for a way to overcome the problem.

Le Funelle is engineered out of one-eighth-inch thick coated paper. The scooped end of the device is placed over the pubic area and the four-and-a-half inch tube aimed at the toilet bowl, instead of an awful trickle down the leg.

For just under $5 American women could buy a travel pack of 20 which can be carried in a handbag.
